Shock as polo-goer's clothing blows into the Queen's face at Royal Windsor Show

The Queen, 93, remained unruffled today as she was hit in the face with a black scarf while at the Royal Windsor Cup Polo match - much to the horror of actress Gillian Anderson (left) who was standing by. The actress seemed particularly disturbed by the unintentional breach of protocol which saw a fellow polo-goer reach to save her scarf from the queen's face as she descended the stairs from the royal viewing box. Despite the incident the Queen was full of smiles and appeared well rested as she greeted guests today, at her sixth engagement in seven days. Her Majesty stunned in a bold pink coat and pretty floral dress, donning a pearl necklace and matching earrings for the event.

Imamoglu narrowly won a previous mayoral election on March 31, but Erdogan's Justice and Development Party challenged the vote. Fans hold their breath as England's Lionesses take on Cameroon in knockout Women's World

England got off to a winning start in their first knock-out match of the Women's World Cup in France. The Lionesses pulled through the emotionally-charged game, winning 3-0 over Cameroon. The African nation, also known as the Indomitable Lionesses, saw controversy from the start of the match, with defender Augustine Ejangue facing a backlash for spitting at England's Toni Duggan in the 13th minute. Seconds later, Steph Houghton drove home an indirect free-kick from inside the penalty area. A second game soon after form the boot of Ellen White in the 45+4th minute (right and bottom middle pulled a glasses gesture as she celebrates). It had been disallowed by the referee, but overturned by the video assistant referee (VAR) system. This proved a turning point in the match, with the Cameroon players in uproar, with them wasting three minutes before restarting the game (left and bottom left). Referee Qin Liang tried to calm the incensed players, but issued no cards for the blatant time wasting. The players soon left the field, with reports emerging that the Cameroonians had burst into tears in the tunnel and accused FIFA of racism over the VAR decision. Tensions were further raise when the players took back to the field and Cameroon netted their first, only for it to be ruled out by VAR for offside. Striker Ajara Nchout particularly seemed inconsolable as coach Alain Djeumfa tried to control his players. To add insult to injury, Alex Greenwood soon made it three for the Lionesses, with an excellent run into the box to tuck away Toni Duggan's corner in the 57th minute.
